Corporate Opportunities

Our unique approach to corporate partnerships embraces a mutually beneficial dynamic. Our corporate partners are not simply donors. They are thought partners, volunteers, collaborators and often, recipients of our business services, which help them create more culturally sensitive and immigrant friendly hiring practices and workplaces.

We commit to regular communication of impact and program updates and encourage our partners and their employees to get involved. Because of this unique approach, we enjoy long-term relationships with many of our corporate donors.

More than a Transaction

At In Her Presence, we believe the strongest partnerships go beyond financial support. While direct contributions are vital to sustaining our programs, we also seek to build meaningful relationships with corporate partners that benefit both immigrant women and the organizations that support them.

While not a requirement, we offer opportunities for businesses to deepen their engagement in several ways, such as: staff training, cross-cultural experiences, volunteer opportunities, and business collaborations.

“Organizations like In Her Presence are helping immigrants prepare for jobs at companies, like Hannaford, across Maine. We’re proud to be partnering with – and learning from – extraordinary people who are gracious enough to share their history and traditions with us.”

Mike Vail, Hannaford President

Staff Training

Businesses contributing $10,000 or more can receive a complimentary cross-cultural training session for their staff, equipping teams with tools to communicate and collaborate effectively across cultures.

Cross-Cultural Experiences

We create opportunities for staff from our partners and participants to connect through cross-cultural discussions and events, building mutual understanding and stronger community relationships.

Volunteer Opportunities

Corporate partners can offer their staff volunteer opportunities with IHP, contributing time and talent directly to support immigrant women and families.

Business Collaborations

We work with businesses to align business goals with participant interests and create new programs. For example, co-hosting events or developing hiring pipelines that prepare participants for open positions.

Donors also receive reduced rates on IHP’s business services, including executive leadership coaching around cross-cultural communication and staff training opportunities.

Thank You to Our Corporate Donors

Your support helps us achieve our mission of supporting immigrant women and families through cultivating connections, nurturing relationships, and providing learning opportunities to create a more united Maine.
